**Job Description:**
– Responsible for managing mission-critical, complex projects to deliver results within the authorized budget and approved time schedule.– Develops objective measures for evaluating project effectiveness.– Capable of managing projects across a broad range of specialty areas.– Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.– Manages all cross-functional aspects of the project to create defined deliverables within the authorized budget on the approved time schedule.– Creates, implements, and manages project plans, business requirement documents, communication plans, test plans, and other project documents.– Delegates and manages tasks of other functional core team members; corrects project resource issues such as performance or availability problems.– Provides leadership to clear barriers to team progress, promotes the good of the company, resolves conflicts within and outside the team, and ensures project goals and staff assignments are realistic and achievable.– Drives teams towards excellence in analysis and decision-making.– Meets quality standards and produces expected deliverables during all phases of the project life cycle: initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.– Responsible for directing the assembly of project teams, assigning responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.– Communicates regularly with functional managers, project management steering committee members, executive sponsors, and other stakeholders regarding project status, issues impeding progress, earned value, and recovery plans for off-track items/tasks.– Maintains project control books and logs.– Conducts lessons learned sessions and issues closing reports….
