OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician-led and accountable 600+ provider multispecialty group practice seeking a Family Practitioner (MD/DO) to work full-time at its Lake Hazel clinic. The Family Medicine physicians at the Lake Hazel clinic are dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of patients, from birth to end of life.

Schedule: 4 – 4.5 days a week, 34 patient contact hours per week. (Flexible scheduling and reduced FTE available)

Call: 1:30, phone only with excellent triage service.

Team: Join one other physician and 2 APPs. Excellent support staff including 1:1 MA, team nurse, plus population health & referral support.

EMR: EPIC

The 8,000 square foot clinic is surrounded by a previously underserved residential area that continues to experience growth and development of new housing. The Lake Hazel clinic has procedure rooms, lab, and digital X-Ray services on site, in addition to a fully staffed Urgent Care facility open every day from 8 am to 8 pm.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degreeSuccessful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency programBoard certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP) (or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment)Obtain Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases
  • Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA

Recruitment package: This position is well compensated and includes sign-on incentives, relocation, student loan repayment, PTO & CME allocation, malpractice, health/dental/vision, and 403b retirement.
